Gluten free living doesn’t mean life needs to be difficult! In fact, gluten free living is easier than you think and in this class, you’ll learn how easy it is. As a former professional chef and private caterer, living gluten free can be delicious as ever without sacrificing taste, texture or time.
This class is geared to those who are currently living a gluten free lifestyle and those who are interested or curious about gluten free living. We will cover kitchen pantry essentials, gluten free substitutions for your favorite recipes, tips on where to purchase gluten free ingredients on a budget, and how you can save money on a gluten free lifestyle.
We will also prepare a gluten free flour blend that everyone will take home to use in place of flour called for in recipes. By taking this class, you’ll have a greater knowledge on gluten free living and do it with ease. As an added bonus, all students will be provided with some other gluten free goodies to take home.
Joelen Tan is a Chicago area private caterer and former restaurant chef. Upon learning she has a gluten intolerance/sensitivity, she has transitioned into gluten free living with ease. Now as a gluten free chef, she can make her cakes and eat it too!
