Join Perennial from St. Louis, Missouri and learn to hang your plants in style with colorful macrame plant hangers! In this class, you will learn how to transform unwanted t-shirts into a yarn that can be used to make a macrame plant hanger. Create a sweet mini macrame plant hanger using upcycled materials! In this virtual workshop, the Perennial team will demonstrate how to cut down a yarn ball from salvaged t-shirts. You’ll learn a few basic macrame knots to create a hanging planter, perfect for displaying your smaller indoor plants or storing small items.
Participants will learn a variety of macrame knots that will support many different sized pots. Use your own pot (6″ diameter or less is a great size!) or upcycled container. Continue to use your skills outside of class to turn your home into an indoor jungle!
