Event Overview

In this hands-on virtual class, you'll learn to make, bake, and fill the best cream puffs, eclairs,  and savory cheese gougeres – epic pastries that show off your amazing cooking skills.

We will start with one pastry recipe and change it up to make delicious Instagram worthy creations. I'll demo the process, then you will make two batches - you'll make one into cream puffs and eclairs to be filled with chocolate ganache and pastry cream, and the other we'll make into gougeres - savory cheese puffs that are fantastic for Thanksgiving, or any day, really.

When we are done, you'll have mastered the art of pate a choux and will have the skills and confidence to make pastry that will dazzle your friends and family.

Plus, you'll have free access to The Good Food Project's Community of cream puff loving bakers - where you'll find new ideas, recipes, baking inspiration, troubleshooting help, and more.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Good Food Project's Project Bake is designed to make baking fun and accessible for everyone. Everybody should know how to cook and bake things they enjoy eating and the more things you can cook, the better.

When you come to our classes, come with an open mind. You’ll try some new things, have a fantastic experience and leave feeling like you have gained the knowledge and confidence that will make your next culinary creation extraordinary.

People tell me that the best takeaways from the classes are not the big lessons, they are the tips and ideas that will make your life easier and improve on what you are already doing. Things like the feel of well-kneaded bread, how to substitute ingredients, and knowing what to do when things go sideways.

Join me for a class. We’ll cook up some great flavors and taste some awesome things together, plus I'd love to talk food with you! Hope to see you soon!
