Event Overview

In the end, at Thanksgiving, it's really all about the pie. And if you could use a little bit of help creating the crispy, flaky pies of your dreams, this hands-on virtual pie-making class is for you.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to make and fill pie and tart crusts – the perfect holiday vehicle for seasonal fruits and vegetables. You’ll mix up, form, fill and bake the dough for pies, tarts, and rustic galettes, just in time for holiday baking.

You'll learn the secrets to creating the flakiest crust for apple pie, how to prep, bake and fill crusts for cream and custard pies, and how to form and fill a classic French galette - a perfect rustic tart that works as a vegetarian main dish or a beautiful dessert.

You’ll leave class ready to take on Thanksgiving pie baking like a pro.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

The Good Food Project's Project Bake is designed to make baking fun and accessible for everyone. Everybody should know how to cook and bake things they enjoy eating and the more things you can cook, the better.

When you come to our classes, come with an open mind. You’ll try some new things, have a fantastic experience and leave feeling like you have gained the knowledge and confidence that will make your next culinary creation extraordinary.

People tell me that the best takeaways from the classes are not the big lessons, they are the tips and ideas that will make your life easier and improve on what you are already doing. Things like the feel of well-kneaded bread, how to substitute ingredients, and knowing what to do when things go sideways.

Join me for a class. We’ll cook up some great flavors and taste some awesome things together, plus I'd love to talk food with you! Hope to see you soon!
