Event Overview

The tiny house movement is sweeping the nation! Do you daydream about living in a tiny home, but don’t even know how to properly use a hammer? Do you feel intimidated by power tools? Do you have questions about how to build a tiny house on a tiny budget? Don’t let your fears and questions keep you from building your dream home! Julie Schurr is currently building her very own tiny home. Before she started this venture, the only thing she built was a crooked shelf. Join Julie for a talk and Q&A on gaining confidence to build a tiny house and the best ways to incorporate reclaimed materials into the building process. Afterwards, feel free to ask Julie your questions about building tiny homes!
