Arts & DIY
Take your sewing skills to the next level while making a stylish + functional mini backpack! In this class, participants will use a few basic stitches on the machine to create a custom backpack with a liner. Choose from a variety of fabric here at Perennial, or bring in your own (1.5 yards) to work with. Old bed sheets and scrap remnants work great for this project!
Participants should have basic knowledge of how to use a sewing machine or have taken Perennial’s Sewing Machine Basics workshop.
Materials Saved from the Landfill:
fabric, cording, denim jeans, t-shirt yarn
All ages welcome
All materials are provided, but students are welcome to bring in their own fabric choices if they prefer.
