Many auto enthusiasts keep multiple sets of tires and would love to have the ability to mount and balance them on their own. The tire machine is tricky to use and can be very dangerous. This class is a requirement of any uncertified Gearhead to use our tire mounting and balancing machines. After the class, when you can demonstrate to our head mechanic that you are proficient he will clear you for future use of the machines without assistance. Students who need more practice following the class will be encouraged to continue practicing with our mechanic as a coach until your proficiency is built and he can clear you for unassisted use.
