Event Overview

Looking for a meaningful Mother's Day experience? You've found it. Creating in circle is one of the most beautiful memories you'll make.

Create and customize a mala necklace or four bracelets that tell your story and express your style. You will design a 108-bead hand-knotted beaded necklace with a tassel, or have the option to create 4 bracelets, each with one charm.

With over 24 types of stone beads, you'll tap into your creative flow to design a talisman that's both beautiful and personal. Best of all, you'll end up with a piece of art you wear and will always cherish.

Free mimosas will be provided!

The word “mala” means "heavenly garland" or "necklace", and it is used as a tool for meditation or prayer and as a beautiful talisman. If you don’t want to meditate, the metaphysical properties of the crystals, or Earth-made stone beads, provide the wearer with metaphysical benefits. You can dedicate your stones to healing, protection, or other intentions. And if you don’t believe in that, there are great and powerful benefits related to crafting with community, and creating & having something beautiful that you made with your own two hands in the midst of a supportive group of fellow crafter-creator-artists, engaged with the senses just for the pure joy of it!

(Also Private Parties! 6 minimum. Questions? Contact create@artandcraftco.com)

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I truly believe that building creative community and spaces for people to create is my calling. When my daughter asked me what I wanted to do when I grew up, I said, "Create." And she responded, "You want to make makers?" To that I replied, "YES!" That's what I want to do: Inspire other makers. I am also the artisan of In Creative Bliss on Etsy. Since June last year, I've taught close to 300 students and each creation has been absolutely gorgeous. Hoping to share my passion with you and create together!
