Event Overview

Create 3 beaded bracelets to carry your intentions with you. You'll design yours from a wide array of natural stones and charms to create bracelets that are meaningful to you. Choose carnelian beads to inspire courage or amazonite for loving communication, or mix and match a variety of stones for the intentions you wish to bring into your life. Perfect for a creative date with your sister, children, or friends, or to make personalized gifts!

Cost covers materials for 3 bracelets and 3 optional charms. Additional bracelets can be made for $12 each.

I also teach the Mala Necklace and Quilting/Sewing Workshops at my makerspace in RiNo. I hope we have the opportunity to create together. I truly believe that building creative community and spaces for people to create is my calling. Since June of 2017, I've taught many students, and every single bracelet and mala has been absolutely gorgeous. This art has brought me incredible joy and I hope to share my passion and joy with you. I love hosting workshops and teaching others this art. The expressions on people's faces when they've finished their mala necklace is wind in my sails, and there is no better feeling than creating together. The community that is shared is icing on the cake. After finishing, so many students can't wait to create another one, or they tell me they're hooked! That is the best feedback I can receive.

Teaching has always been a part of my life. I taught choirs, I taught piano, and now I teach guitar and mala craft. I also work as a school psychologist, so I teach students in classrooms and small groups as well. It's an honor to be part of someone's growth, to be side by side with those on a creative and personal journey.

Nice class, I went solo and everyone in the class was super welcoming. Would be fun with a group of people you know. The instructor was very helpful and I appreciated that she paid to attention to all of us, jumping in when we needed help. Recommend this, just a couple hours and you get something to wear from it!

This was a great Saturday afternoon activity. I loved all of the beautiful beads and the meanings behind them. I made one for myself and two as gifts. Both friends have had positive days since they've worn them!

I saw Jen's beautiful malas for sale and was immediately drawn to them and their unique beauty. When I found out she was hosting creative workshops to make these stunning pieces I couldn't resist! Really laid back class. Jen helped us get set up, gave us a few pointers, and then left us to sort out how we wanted to make our bracelets from there. She had tons of fun supplies, and the location was really comfortable & perfect for some Saturday morning beading. Definitely take her classes. I'll be wearing my creation for years to come.

I highly recommend the class Jen is amazing. It was one of the best experiences I have had. I have PTSD so making the brackets was very therapeutic. The people I gave the bracelets to loved them.Its a great class to do with someone else.
