Create your very own mala with your own sacred intentions. Join us to infuse and create your very own talisman attuned to you! Created and designed by you. Trust your creative intuition, and make something from your heart.

Feed your soul, and create a beautiful and meaningful talisman. Tap into your creative flow as you design your own 108-bead mala necklace. You will choose your own stones and customize your mala so that it tells your unique story and meets your personal needs. When we're done, you will walk away with a piece of art you can wear and always cherish.

The Sanskit word “mala” means "heavenly garland" or "necklace" and it is used as a tool for meditation or prayer and as a beautiful talisman. It is sacred, and intended for meditation and attunement, and traditionally as you touch each bead, you think the name of a deity, intention, or affirmation.

Over time, the more you use it, the more powerful it becomes, and the more peaceful, aware, and tuned in you become. I love the idea of the mala, believing that when you use it for meditation or mindfulness, you carry those mantras and positive intentions with you.

You don't have to do yoga or be into meditation to make one. This workshop is also for anyone who wants to create a powerful object that is beautiful, personal, and meaningful.

I love hosting workshops and teaching others this art. The expressions on people's faces when they've finished their mala necklace is wind in my sails, and there is no better feeling than creating together. The community that is shared is icing on the cake. After finishing, so many students can't wait to create another one, or they tell me they're hooked! That is the best feedback I can receive.

Teaching has always been a part of my life. I taught choirs, I taught piano, and now I teach guitar and mala craft. I also work as a school psychologist, so I teach students in classrooms and small groups as well. It's an honor to be part of someone's growth, to be side by side with those on a creative and personal journey.

This class is so fun I’ve taken it twice (and will take more)! Jen has such good, positive energy it just feels amazing to be there! She has all the tools and knowledge to help you craft a beautiful necklace and you learn the meaning of each of the beads that you choose for your individual creation. It is also inspiring and fun to meet the other people in the class and we always laugh and have meaningful and lively conversations. I highly recommend this class for anyone!

We had such a great time crafting our own mala! The setting was lovely and welcoming, there were tons of stone beads to choose from, and we made some beautiful mala that we'll have forever! I highly recommend this workshop, I already want to do another!

Jen is a fantastic teacher. She was so patient with me. I have received so many compliments on my Mala necklace. I went by myself and everyone there went with friends or family but I fit right in. Jen made this such a fun and memorable class. You will love the experience!

Jen was delightful and we really enjoyed the class. She gave great instruction and had a large variety of beads and string so that we could all create our own , unique piece. The room was very comfortable and she provided music and a very inviting, comfortable atmosphere.

Jen wrote out what each bead meant and had some wonderful mindfulness lessons that she added at the end when we were finishing. I wanted to make a necklace for my sister and she sent me a personal EXTREMELY detailed email on where to find beads, thread, etc. I will go to ANY class that she teaches!

Best class I have taken on Dabble. I want to do it over and over again! Jen was so sweet and warm. I took my sister to this class and we kept talking about it on the way home. We are in love! This would be a great class for a group of friends, anyone going through a life transition (when are we not?!), or to take for yourself whether you're going through a hard time or need to reset yourself.

This was my first dabble class and my first time making a Mala. The small class was a great setting to learn. Jen was great and helpful. She guided us through the process while encouraging us to make our project our own. I was really pleased with the way mine turned out and I will be looking to take a class again from her in the future.

I enjoyed this class so much! My husband and I took it together and had a great time making our malas and chatting with out people in the class. The setting was awesome with vinyl records playing as we created, and Jen is a helpful and sweet teacher. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

She creates a welcoming, light-hearted environment, and she is so helpful and patient with everyone. The process of making the Mala necklace and bracelets is meditative to say the least, and it is so rewarding to walk away with not just an overall lovely experience, but a beautiful creation you can wear or give to someone special.

This class was exactly what I hoped for - a fun experience with interesting people with the end result being I know how to create a male in a way that does not leave me frustrated! Jen did a wonderful job of setting up for the class with beautiful stone beads in lovely jars with their energy association written on fun slips pf brown paper. She gave individual attention to each student which allowed us all to work at our own comfortable speed. She presented more than one way to tie the knots giving each student a chance to find their own best way through the example of different approaches. I highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to learn how to tie a mala.
