Event Overview

Was is the wine or the watercolors that brought you here? For me, it was both! In this class with a fun twist, learn basic watercolor painting techniques and create your own watercolor painting while sipping on some of your own wine. Watercolor painting is a hobby you can easily enjoy with friends, alone, or on vacation. Combine wine and watercolor painting and you’re sure to have a fun creative experience!

BYOB, and must be 21+ to drink! Bring ID!

Boris Ostrerov

Boris Ostrerov earned an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013. While in school, he learned to paint and draw both representationally and abstractly with various mediums. In the last three years he has taught art classes to beginners. He creates a comfortable environment and uses his ability to clearly and enthusiastically articulate and demonstrate approaches and techniques to painting and drawing. He believes art is a rewarding hobby and that everyone has the potential to improve their artistic skills and exercise their creativity through visual art.

Ostrerov has exhibited his work in Chicago and New York including showing at Paris London Hong Kong (PLHK), Lubov, Tory Folliard, and the Portrait Society in Milwaukee. He has been featured in several publications including New American Paintings #119.

5 stars! Very relaxing class where several painting techniques were taught. The wine definitely boosted the relaxing environment! Boris was engaging and consistently checked in with the students to ensure they knew what they were doing. Clearly being the best student i was checked in on often :) left with a Picasso masterpiece and good vibes!

Such a fantastic introduction to watercolor painting! Boris is a very experienced artist who taught us different techniques in a calm and light-hearted manner. The equipment he supplied us was top-notch and definitely added to the pleasant experience. Definitely worth the time and money, would highly recommend :)
