Event Overview

Have you ever wanted to learn how to paint with watercolors but are overwhelmed with where to start?  Think it would be fun but very difficult to make beautiful paintings?  No art skills?  No worries! This 2.5 HOUR class is perfect for the complete beginner; an introductory class with all the materials included and an instructor/artist to guide you, so you have a lot to gain!  At a comfortable pace, you will be introduced to different watercolor painting materials, understand what watercolors are made of, practice a few painting techniques, and create one simple painting!  By pursuing watercolor painting, you will learn how pleasurable and relaxing this medium is and you will develop a way to exercise creativity.  This class is a great prequel to my other watercolor classes.  Come along with us and discover the joy of watercolor painting!

I had an excellent time learning the basics of watercolor....from types of paint and brushes, to basic techniques to get started. It was an awesome way to spend a couple hours!

This was really fun! We got a chance to learn about the different types of paints, brushes, paper, and techniques. I loved trying out professional watercolor paints, and although it was a harder medium to work wth than I had anticipated, I really enjoyed it and would love to take more classes in watercolor.
