Event Overview

Slow down, get creative, and make something uniquely yours during this hands-on candle-making workshop at Sentient Self Co.

During this 1.5–2-hour experience, you’ll learn the basics of candle making while creating your own custom-scented soy candle.

Explore our fragrance collection, discover how different notes work together, and blend a scent that reflects your personality, mood, or intention. We’ll guide you through each step—from choosing your fragrance and preparing your vessel to measuring, mixing, and pouring your candle.

No previous candle-making experience is needed. All materials and step-by-step instruction are included, and you’ll leave with a handmade candle created entirely by you, along with instructions for curing and enjoying it at home.

Come solo, bring a friend, plan a creative date, or gather your favorite people for a relaxing experience in our cozy Chicago candle studio.

All materials and candle-making tools will be provided for you :) Just bring yourself and an open mind!
