Event Overview

Makeup is an amazing art form that can immediately transform your look. With a few simple steps, you can enhance your features or turn up the glam and be ready for any holiday event.

This makeup application class (for beginners and up) will feature demonstrations and hands-on learning. The class will focus on how to execute 2 classic beauty looks that are great for the season: cat eye/ bold lip, smokey eye/nude lip. How to perfect the skin and brow technique will also be covered. Product recommendations and any makeup questions will be addressed.

Students will leave the class with confidence in their ability to do 2 classic beauty looks and get a flawless skin look. Look your best at all the holiday parties!

What to Bring

Bring your makeup brushes. If you have it, please bring black pencil eyeliner, neutral eyeshadows, bold lip color and nude lip color.

Minimum age

All ages welcome

What's Provided

I will have makeup that can be shared if you don't have something and instructional hand-outs with product recommendations

Alyson Lyon is a professional, trained, full-time freelance hair/makeup artist from Chicago. Alyson studied makeup artistry at Makeup First Chicago and works primarily in production (video, film, print) and has worked for MAC Cosmetics since 2010. Alyson also has a background in Education and the Performing Arts; she teaches dynamic and easy-to-follow classes.
