In this class, Dabblers will learn how to use the materials provided by Mother Earth to make beautiful handmade dyes. A variety of organic materials and simple additives will be used to create rich, gorgeous colors.



Instructors Jess Egan and Nicole Northway will lead students through creating a swatch library in a handmade book, then dying simple textiles in cotton and linen. Yarn may also be dyed!



All materials are included and students will leave with a dye journal and a simple textile piece.
