Event Overview

Are you ever nervous about dancing alone in public? Does dancing by yourself feel forced and awkward? If you find yourself scared stiff on the dance floor, Duet has your back! We'll show you some classic, simple moves to get you grooving by yourself at a social event. We'll start with a basic warm-up, then focus on some easy footwork that'll help you move around the floor.

After learning some new moves in the 50-minute class, sit back and enjoy performances from current Duet students as they compete in the Re-mix Dance competition. These performances will present mashed up songs and dances, and our panel of experts will score them a la Dancing with the Stars. You’ll get to vote for the audience choice award and cheer on your favorites.

The event is BYOB, so bring your favorite liquid courage to help loosen you up a bit. Your nerves will subside as you get comfortable moving freely and independently! Never sit out a dance party again!

The class is 50 minutes long and you will learn:

• Basic solo moves


• Simple moves to do with a partner


• Dance to pop music!

Singles, couples and anyone with two left feet to welcome to join this class. No previous experience needed!
