Event Overview

Are you living your life proactively or reactively? Do you spend all day putting out fires instead of creating new opportunities? If you want to strengthen focus and eliminate distraction, procrastination, and unproductive multitasking, then this class is for you.

Save precious seconds AND your sanity in 2017 with time-blocking: a DIY time-management system. By dedicating certain hours to specific tasks, the entrepreneur, business person, student, or parent can ensure that s/he gets it all done with much less stress. Come learn how you can build in time to exercise, meditate, make art, and meal prep alongside answering emails, balancing the books, and whatever else you define as ‘work.’ You may have more responsibilities than ever to fit into the same 24 hours, but 24 hours is still enough—even if you sleep eight of them! Yes, EIGHT!

This three-hour workshop will teach you to:

  • map your tasks according to Stephen Covey’s four-quadrant matrix

  • batch tasks for the week, month, and year

  • honor Circadian rhythms and your body clock

  • also consider location-blocking

  • create a time-blocked schedule and stick to it!

Jess will provide OJ, snacks, and all the materials to make and take your time-blocking master calendar! Put in the work now so that the rest of 2017 is easy-breezy!
