Event Overview

Welcome to Paint + Sip: Abstract Painting Techniques on Linen! Join us in my studio at Mana Contemporary Chicago for a fun, creative boost on your choice of dates:

  • Saturday Oct.4, 6pm-9pm

  • Sunday Oct.5, 12pm-3pm : Paint + Brunch (Ages 12+, alcohol-free)

  • Saturday Nov.8, 3pm-6pm

No experience needed, just bring your enthusiasm! We provide all the materials you need to unleash your inner artist. Let's move beyond traditional paints and explore a fresh set of unexpected materials, tools and techniques, including dyes, pigment powders, collage and more. You'll leave, ready to hang up your own lush, richly-layered abstract painting on natural linen.

Each student will have the choice between painting on linen stretched onto a traditional frame, or a dowel-pocket hangable pendant.

Get ready to sip on your favorite beverage (adult and NA), mingle with new friends, and let your creativity flow. Don't miss out on this fun and inspiring event!
