MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Tera is a plant enthusiast who is excited to share her passion for terrarium art. She comes from a background in biological sciences and dance; it turns out that terrarium art is the perfect intersection of horticulture and spatial design. Tera realized the magic in terrariums and succulents after visiting a plant shop in New York. Soon after, her apartment was busting at the seams with terrariums containing a myriad of succulent varietals. Tera holds a M.S. in Biology and has been teaching high school science for ten years. You can find her work at Fortunate Discoveries Boutique in Lincoln Park and her Etsy Shop, Hens and Chicks Plants. Tera also teaches private parties for Bachelorette parties or any festivity! This class was great! Tera was fun and informative; she brought lots of supplies to help us creatively customize our own terrariums. I really enjoyed designing mine and found the experience quite therapeutic. I will definitely be building more of my own in the future!

For my first Dabble class and Terrarium class, this was a great experience. The location was very conducive to the group we had and Tera was helpful in walking around to make sure the group felt like they were learning/making the best choices. I learned a lot about the materials that go into the piece of work and how to care for my new terrarium. I will definitely recommend this class to others. It would be a great class for a bachelorette or birthday party.

This class was seriously awesome. There was a great variety of plants, neat containers and a ton of different options for decorating the terrariums. I love mine so much I almost want to sign up again and build a second one!
