Event Overview

"What Are Your Ruby Slippers?" is a series of classes offering guided explorations of our life's journey, using mind/body practices and positive psychology tools to help you find your way to more love, family, connection, heart, wisdom etc. In the "Wizard of Oz," the ruby slippers were Dorothy's magic charm or tool that helped her find her Way to the happiness she was seeking. This class will help you identify your own tools for creating positive change.

Most of the time, we tend to believe that change necessarily arises only when we identify and list all the stuff that went wrong, all of our or someone else's grievances. Turns out, as the song says, "it ain't necessarily so. In fact, focusing on the negative just makes us defensive, depressed and may keep us stuck in places or behaviors where we don't want to be. This workshop will help you find ways to create change by focusing on what's working well. These tools work whether you seek personal or professional transformation.

You will learn to ground yourself in the present moment; embody calm confidence and power; find something wonderful you'd like to bring into your life; identify your strengths; make specific steps to create positive change.

So come on and bring friends! This a great class for groups and co-workers.

I was very interested in this practice of mindfulness for sometime. I really had no agenda
Or expectations. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it was not.
The class was so informative about the mind, the body. ... Perception. & thinking
Processes. Hillary was sharing information with what I
felt was sincere generosity. I will be staying in this class. & looking forward.
