Event Overview

Spend a Sunday afternoon at my comfortable studio in artistic self reflection and then apply paper mosaic to complete a unique self portrait.

The concept can be realistic or abstract but should reflect your self image. If you want to work realistically, bring a 8x10" paper copy of a photograph of yourself to work from or abstract your portrait with symbols of your SELF. This is an intriguing and fun project!

Students will be provided with board to work on, glue, magazines and papers to use as mosaic material and cut mats to give their self portraits a finished look. Feel free to bring any personal papers, magazines, photos or small objects to include in your self portrait. Keep in mind they will be torn up so make copies if you want to retain your photos. If you really, really want to do a portrait of someone else...thats fine too.
