Event Overview

You've been dying to learn macrame and now is your chance to create a beautiful, textured, hand dip dyed wall tassel alongside a professional artist in her charming home studio!

We will begin with intros and wine. Next, I will teach you how to set up your wall tassel with the most useful macrame knot. I will help guide you with tension, knotting and the overall look of your piece. Once your macrame knotting is complete, you will trim and fray the ends. Then I will demonstrate how to create the perfect dip dye. You'll have a variety of colors to choose from and even be able to use more than one color! We will safely wrap up your artwork to take home. Everyone will complete their very own wall tassel during class and all you have to do at home is rinse and hang dry. Your finished piece is sized at approximately 4" wide by 24" long. This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting a fun, creative experience that won't break the bank. Grab a friend and join the group!

TICKET INCLUDES:

  • Enough macrame materials to completely create your wall tassel

  • Choice between silver or gold hoop

  • Printed macrame knot guide to take home

  • Unlimited demonstrations and guidance throughout the class

  • Variety of dye colors to create your own dip dye design

  • Complementary wine selection

  • Follow up email with Amy's favorite macrame material resources

Workshop tickets are nonrefundable. If necessary, you can transfer your ticket into someone else's name.

TESTIMONIALS:

"Such a great class! It was just the right balance of learning and doing and you get to take away something really unique and wonderful for your home. The teacher is super nice and very helpful." - Sara O.

"I had such a great time in this class! It's nice to do something new/creative after work with some lady friends or to go and make NEW ones! My friend and I planned to go to this class together, we sipped wine and left with a great piece and a new skill! Amy was a delightful teacher, her instructions were simple, she helped when we were struggling and was prepared with set up and even a light snack/water! I highly recommend this class!" - Emily F.

"Loved the class!! Amy's a great teacher and it was so nice to walk out with a finished piece. The cost of the class was very reasonable." - Erin S.

This class was great! I had been waiting to go to one of these, because most of the time her events are sold out. I would say it's definitely worth the wait. It was fun and easy. The atmosphere is great - the studio is everything you hoped it would be. I would probably go to another one to make a larger piece next time.

It was nice to revisit Macrame with this fun class!
Amy was patient with me as I tried to make the knots this way and that.
I did complete the project and was quite pleased with the results.
