Event Overview
I know, you're that last minute person who waits until the day of to decorate for the holidays.... or maybe you're the type of gal that just doesn't like spending her hard earned dollars with Macy's. Don't despair. You can get a great looking table decoration without breaking the bank. Although I can't promise you they will look as good as the ones at Macy's, I can promise you that you'll love it because you made it and we'll learn a little bit together and have fun.
Come join me to learn how to use burlap and other materials to make quick table runners, and placemats for your table for the holidays.
Kick the Easter off with joy and cheer and plain 'ole' fun. Make something!
What to Bring
A pair of good fabric scissors, trim, fabric, lace, ribbon, buttons, leaves, holly, berries, mistletoe, cutting board (if available) measuring tape, ruler. I will provide the burlap, other materials and good cheer.
Minimum age
All ages welcome
Prerequisites
A desire to learn and create.
What's Provided
Burlap, glue gun, fabric glue and other essentials.

Hello my name is Renee...my students call me either Ms. R., Ms. Rob or Ms. Renee.....whatever floats your boat is perfectly fine with me....just don't go gettin sassy on me.
I have been a teacher for 20+ years teaching children, teens, young adults and seniors. My background is varied although I have no formal degree in art, I've been trudging through numerous classes and activities to learn as much about my craft as I possible can.
My main background is in using Computer Technology and Applications to teach graphic design, and application integration. I taught gifted ed for a number of years and always used project related, and hands-on art activities to teach subjects.
Come join me as we explore, learn and create beautiful things. It makes my heart happy.....I hope it makes yours happy too...and yes I'm one of "those" people......live, love and laugh.
