Event Overview

What is there to do in January? How about a touch of spring by signing up for our floral design class? Learn the techniques to design your very own gorgeous centerpiece that you will make & take home with you! We will build a beautiful, low design good for a dining or coffee table. There are trade secrets and some basics that we share with you so that you can take your fresh cuts from the florist and arrange them yourself for your next party or get together! Geneva will 1st design an arrangement while you watch and then it will be your turn as she and her colleague guide you through the steps to making your very own gorgeous centerpiece!

What to Bring

A small box to put your creation in & take home.

Geneva Currin has been a florist for 23 years, has owned & operated 3 of her own shops for almost 20 years, has worked the wholesale side of the industry and has taught many a class on floral design and terrarium building. She has designed for Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Michael & Juanita Jordan, Elton John, Tina Turner and many others over the years. She has traveled to Holland 14 times in her career to visit the Dutch flower auction, get new ideas, stay abreast in the industry and attend the Boerma School of Flower Design, in Aalsmeer. Flowers have been her passion since a child and she enjoys sharing her ideas and techniques with others.
