Event Overview
If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a motion picture worth? Potentially a lot more… if the film is any good, that is. What makes a film good is not how much you spend on expensive equipment, but how much you invest in the whole process, from writing to shooting, to how you present your video online.
Dabblers will learn about film video-making from start to finish, including:
-Writing and storyboarding your video
-Casting
-Shooting
-Lighting
-Audio
-Cool tricks to make your video look professional
-How to distribute online
Whether you are interested in the art of film-making, or are already knee deep in DIY video-making, this class will give you the inside scoop on how to translate your vision into a well-made motion picture.

Guy Bauer’s love of video started way back in Middle School. Since then, he has accumulated an impressive line-up of credits, including Comedy Central, Travel Channel, KCBS-FM, WLUP-FM & WKQX-FM. In 2010, Mr. Bauer started Guy Bauer Productions, a video production company for businesses small and large. Clients include: Dell, GE Healthcare and Johnson & Johnson.

The class was informative and a fun environment. I really enjoyed the more practical side of the instruction...lighting and camera work. I would recommend this class without reservation. I hope that Mr. Bauer will offer more follow up classes.

I've always been interested in photography so this was a nice transitional subject to learn about. The class touched on the salient points of video and provided some useful physical techniques like lighting.
