Event Overview

Armed with a shiny new crochet needle, reclaimed yarn, and a complimentary drink from the Department of Coffee and Social Affairs, you'll learn how to crochet with Alison, a crochet maven.

This laidback session is great for first-timers interested in picking up stitching, as Alison will teach you the building blocks of crochet while you chat with fellow crocheters and sip coffee.

In addition to the supplies and knowledge to keep crocheting on your own, you'll go home with bath salt mix created with herbs and flowers grown at the Roof Crop for the most relaxing Sunday afternoon you'll enjoy all month.

Great instructor - worked one on one with each of us, loads of positive reinforcement. It was the light, fun event we were expecting. Space configuration not ideal - low lighting, a bit crammed.

Instructor was great! There were only three students so each of us received some personal attention. She did demonstrations, answered our questions and offered hands on assistance when needed. I left knowing how to make a daisy chain and 2 basic stiches! Also the coffee shop location and atmosphere was perfect for our event. Delicious coffee too!

My experience with crocheting was quite positive. I would definitely come back again.
