Event Overview
Have you always wanted to play Texas Hold'em? Maybe you've seen it on T.V. Perhaps your significant other plays regularly and you want to join. This class is for absolute beginners and a great place to start!
Dabblers will receive a basic education in the poker game known as Texas Hold'em. Students will learn, from the ground up, topics such as: Hand Rankings, Table Layout, Game Flow and Player Actions. Students will also learn some basic strategic concepts.
This is the first in a series of classes that will build from one to the next. No materials are required, notepad and pencil are recommended and hand-outs will be offered.

As a poker player for nearly 10 years, Kevin has had moderate success in low limit cash games with a handful of small buys in tournament wins. He has read dozens of strategy books and subscribes or regularly reads poker magazines.
