Event Overview
The days are getting shorter and darker…. and colder. Bring light, warmth, and a welcoming aroma to your home with these delightful little aroma candles made from beeswax and pure essential oils!
Beeswax naturally has a light honey scent and is a desirable wax for candles due to its slow and clean burning; this also makes it more costly than most other types of wax. Essential oils are comprised of natural aromatic compounds found in plants (this is what makes fresh peppermint, a sliced lemon, or a stick of cinnamon smell so good!) and can be added during the candle making process to further enhance the scent released by the candle upon burning.
During this hands-on workshop you will get to make and take home three candles in small decorative glass containers. You will also be given a handout that reviews the candle making process and includes a materials reference guide so you can make more candles on your own!
