Event Overview

This class is open to creative-minded women ONLY and will take place on consecutive Tuesday evening starting June 18th, June 25th, and July 2nd at 7 PM.

Sometimes a person needs to find perspective in the way they view life as it happened. Possibly you have been blessed to discover the pleasures of "basic" photography. Maybe you have a decent eye but you have no; know how to formulate the 1600 pictures you have snapped. Maybe scrapbooking has not been your thing but somehow you find you have the need to chronologically put them in some order. A remembrance, a vacation, a wedding, that hike you took up to some point? etc etc...

The whole idea of taking pictures is to capture the moment as it is happening so, later on, you have a reference to what you discovered... the beauty at the moment!

In this 3 part class, I am going to show you how to classify the moments. I am going to teach you the who, the what, the how, and the where it all happened thru picture storytelling! We are going to talk about photo storage, flash drive necessity and even touch on the way you photograph your images. We will also talk about The rules of thumb (basic) on good eye content!

We will also discuss storytelling from a 3rd party view.

These classes will be held in my Affton home studio. (I do have pets cat/dog they will be put up) Feel free to bring a beverage and or a snack... to share. Be prepared to speak to tell a little bit about your story/ that you are photo journaling! Great descriptive words and the emotion you felt as you were snapping the pictures!

As a long time photographer and a writer, I find it is so important to leave these magical moments put in some long enduring memory keepsake.

This class will teach you how to write words that will match the picture moment. (this is not a cut and paste and embellish scrapbook class) This is photo-journaling!

All inquiries and questions are welcome!
