Event Overview

Come join us for a private “party” at Seedz Cafe afterhours. Class price includes a delicious and healthy Seedz Cafe tasting. We have to stick with listed maximum.  First 5 to sign up get a complimentary “Yoga in Demun” pass.  Christy is an awesome instructor   She is located next door to Seedz.

Acupressure (like acupuncture) is a powerful tool for immediate pain relief, muscle and nerve issues, acid reflux, back and arm pain, headaches, digestive issues, menstrual cramps, sadness, gaining energy and so much more.  There are points that connect to all parts of the body.  It is based on the ancient understanding of meridians and life flow (Qi) running throughout the human (and animal) body.

Our body is a MIRACLE.  Isn't it PHENOMENAL when you learn something new about yourself?  In this workshop, you will learn how to apply pressure to some of the most popular, powerful pressure points.  We will learn the thumbwalk, clockwise and counterclockwise techniques, ischemic pressure (below pain threshold), working 2 points at once and more.  You will learn how to "dispense" this powerful medicine upon yourself.

As in all Feather-Light Living workshops, we will provide time for a short meditation and light dancing and exercise.  We will also provide complimentary food - superb, high quality, local and healthy fare.  Sip local Kombucha, healing teas, local dark chocolate, and fresh veggies and fruit. You get to enjoy all of this in a social, spiritual atmosphere.

Ellen was awesome and really went the extra mile to create a wonderful environment for learning and sharing. She even brought in local foods for us to try prior to our class. It was well worth the experience and I wouldn't hesitate to take another class from Ellen. Thanks so much!

I've been interested in learning more about Accupressure for years and was excited to be able to sign up for this class. I wasn't disappointed. Ellen was very welcoming and was happy to share all her knowledge about self-healing. The class was a good balance of physical activity and lecture which facilitated learning for all types of students. Ellen even used a clever mnemonic device to help us remember the pressure points she discussed. I felt very supported in my learning and very comfortable asking questions.
