Event Overview

Chicago Children's Theatre camps offer children an amazing opportunity to unleash their creativity and bring their imagination to life. Campers will spend each day learning about what goes into creating a work of art for the stage with professional Chicago theatre artists and designers!

In Tiny Camp, our tiniest heroes (age 3-5 years old) have the biggest adventures in this magically fun, high energy camp. Every day, students participate in warm ups, imaginative story time, music, dance, and movement games. We seek to engage our littlest performers as they play, invent, and set their imaginations wild.

5 Day Camp runs from Monday, June 20-Friday, June 24, 2016 and Monday, June 27-Friday, July 1.

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

Chicago Children’s Theatre has evolved as both a professional and personal response to the lack of a Chicago company dedicated exclusively to providing high-quality, professional year-round children’s programming.

After the success of its launch production of A Year With Frog and Toad in January 2006 at Goodman Theatre, Chicago Children’s Theatre continues to provide Chicago children and families with the highest level professional theatre programming. There has been tremendous critical and popular support of Chicago Children’s Theatre and its audience continues to grow. Since the theatre’s inception in 2005, more than 280,000 youth and families have attended its productions.

Mission
Chicago Children’s Theatre aspires to enrich our community through diverse and significant theatrical and educational programming that engages and inspires the child in all of us.

Vision
The vision of Chicago Children’s Theatre is to be Chicago’s premier professional theatre company dedicated to creating awe- inspiring theatrical productions and programs for our communities through inclusion and accessibility inspiring young people and families to lead lives of adventure, courage, and curiosity.
