I had been hoping to find a film developing course for quite some time and came across a class at The Pursuit Supply. Adam (the instructor) was knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. It was a very positive experience and I look forward to my next visit to The Pursuit Supply!

Overall, an enjoyable class covering the very basics of beer brewing. The class attracted a group with a diverse range of beer knowledge and experience, and it is definitely accessible to people with little to no knowledge of beer. Small class size was great for engagement and asking questions. I would say the primary drawback of the class was that beer brewing can be very boring. There's a lot of down time, which is mostly just sitting around waiting.

Great to finally learn how to develop my own film! Adam was super helpful and knowledgable making the class fun and productive. Walked away with a roll of my Kodak TriX fully developed by myself!

The instructor was very knowledgeable about film and elements that make up street photography. We had a small class and after a short session discussing the elements of a shot, walked around Old Irving Park putting the theory into practice. She had a very interesting eye and taught us what she looks for in her pictures, how different colors and contrasting textures appear in black and white and color, and how to frame a shot to achieve what you want to see in your picture.

Had a great time learning from the instructor. He was very engaged and responsive to our questions. Roasting can be quite fun. No fancy roaster was used, just your basic do it at home and roaster. Again, very informational and definitely worth the $25. Also get to take your own small batch of Peruvian coffee home,

This was a GREAT class! It was truly hands on and the teachers allowed you to ask all the questions you wanted no matter how silly they might seem. They really know a lot about home brewing and present it in an easy to understand way!

It was a great intimate setting which made me feel like I could ask any question without sounding like a total amateur (even though I am). I also enjoyed the testing of other classes' brews and the fact that it's BYOB so you can enjoy your favorite bubbly while learning how to make your own!

Thought this was great way to introduce the brewing process and not make it seem so daunting. Hopefully there are some follow up classes that I can take to improve on the skills I learned as I start making beer at home. Loved the conversational style so you could really get what you needed out of the class.

This is a good introductory class on how easy it is to actually brew beer. If you have never brewed your own beer and were thinking about it. You need to attend this class. They went through step by step and answered and all questions. I look for word to more classes. Berry and Adam were great.

Barry and Adam were phenomenal. They were extremely approachable, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The class was interactive, and I felt very comfortable with the process of making beer.

What a great class! I had previously attended an "Introduction to Brewing" at another place, but I wanted to do it once more somewhere else to see what else I could learn. This class was much more interactive AND included some beer tasting!!! In this course, we actually made a 5 gallon batch of beer that we can come back and help bottle when ready while taking home our own 6-pack on that day. The previous class was strictly talk. I recommend this course to anyone interested in brewing beer. Even though I had made several batches before this, it was still a very helpful (and fun!) course.
