Dabble me this, Dabble me that what can be learned from Paddy Fitz Pat? All sorts of neat little crafty tid bits will be shared. With the power of the plastic cards many cool and unique pieces of equipment have been purchased and now all we need is an audience to teach. So leave the kids at home, put on your safety goggles and let's get messy. If you don't get any on you then you're just not having any fun.
(Always keep hair tied back and no loose fitting clothes or open toed shoes.)

The set up for the class was very accessible and easy to do; we got to participate in the full process from start to finish and see examples of finished products -- the skylines come pre-cut, and assembly of the candle is really easy; it was nice to walk away with a high quality finished product.

This class was so much fun! Kelsie explained every step of the process and taught us a lot about wood cutting/candle making/generally about the studio. It was really chill, and the candles are gorgeous and we will be keeping them forever.

My boyfriend and I took this class and had a great time! We had a real hands on experience and I now feel more comfortable using a table saw. The workshop is very cool but it is a workshop so make sure you dress appropriately. We both loved our skylines but take note that you don't get the one you create as it takes 45 mins for the laser to cut out all the details. Something fun and different to do and they have a handful of class offerings, check them out!

Bought 2 tickets for my nieces Christmas presents. 2 hour class was only 30 minutes, and they didn't get to take home the actual candles they made, they took previously made candles home instead. Both nieces said they had a blast regardless.

I went with a few of my girlfriends to this class and we had a great time. Our instructor was awesome and we learned a lot and had fun while making the candles. We would definitely recommend this class for anyone who wants to do something out of the ordinary for a fun activity!

Fun experience, and fantastic end result. Can customize however you want. You can be as hands on as you'd like, or have instructor take care of some steps if you don't feel comfortable (e.g. using the table saw). Totally up to you.

Utilize the drone video to find your way into the shop, it was super helpful! Free street parking right outside the building. Class was very fun and a great learning experience. Only downfall is that you do not get to take home the same skyline that you design due to laser cutting taking 45 mins per piece. You get to take home one that had already been pre-made.

Looove the finished product! A quality soy candle that smells AMAZING, with a crackling wood wick wrapped in a skyline decal, plus a cork lid that can be used as a coaster. Patrick and Shaun were very welcoming hosts. I would have liked to have gotten a little more hands on with the laser cutter if possible, though.

Patrick was a wonderful teacher. He was good-humored and patient, and all of our projects turned out fantastic. The studio is also pretty cool and its fun to see what other projects they are working on. The bottle opener was easy to make and you could customize the laser etching so that your piece is unique.

As someone who had never tried glass-blowing before, this was a very non-intimidating way to be introduced to the art and create really cool take-home piece! The instructors were great and the bowls that we made look so cool. I still get so many compliments on them :).

I was a bit nervous walking in to this class as it was in an unusual setting. However, that turned out to be really cool as it was the teacher's workshop. He was very knowledgable and our terrariums were really cute. I've even made one at home since doing the class!

The class was very enjoyable and laid-back. I really liked the fact hat there was a variety of containers, plants and filler materials. This way, everybody made a terrarium that reflected their personality. Bought this for my Mom as an bonus Christmas gift. She thoroughly enjoyed it and is "up" for doing another Dabble class.

Glass blowing in Chicago! Who knew? The art of glass blowing is really fascinating, seeing it in person doesn't make it any less magical. Tom and Patrick were both super nice, super professional, super patient guys. They put up with a really chatty class (myself included) that wanted a lot of special treatment ("I want stripes!" "You can't have stripes, that's not possible without a mold" "I want dots!" "Okay, but your bowl might not be symmetrical!" "DOTS!" "Okay, dots."). It's almost worth going just to watch them twirl around scalding batons without injuring themselves. Definitely recommend!

I've done glass blowing before, actually, and I go back because of instructors like these. Patient, clear instructions with always an eye to safety, combined with humor and great knowledge about their art and you always come away having learned something as you make something very unique. You are involved in the process from start to finish and you can honestly say that you have created something pretty wonderful. But more than creating a bowl or an ornament, the experience stays with you. Glass can be fascinating and this was a fabulous experience with a great instructor.

The studio was super cool too, and we even got a tour of it after the class ended. It really exceeded my expectations. The teacher played awesome music too and took requests!

I loved my glasses that I made in this class. I use them all the time and they are super durable. The instructors were really fun and approachable. They make sure you don't blow anything up, which is great. They are also really good teachers and you learn to use a lot of different equipment. At the end of this class, you will get glasses that I think you will literally have for the rest of your life.

The class was fun! Small group so I was able to have one on one time with the instructor. All the materials provided allowed for each attendee to add their own personality to their plant. The class is slated for two hours but only last about one.
