This was such a fun class. We were fortunate enough to have a small class, so we could throw on the wheel for as long as we wanted. I, miraculously, wound up with three(!) completed pottery items that I was proud of. Our teacher, Sarah, was super approachable and very willing to help us learn. It isn't super easy to do and can be disheartening when you don't get it right, but Sarah made sure you knew how to correct your problems and let us practice until we got it right. It was a great date and I would totally do it again.

My friends and I enjoyed the class and learned quite a bit about both hand making and wheel throwing. It was a great hands-on experience and I'm looking forward to taking more classes here.

This was a great class. The teacher was awesome! The class was small, so we each received the attention needed as we worked with the clay. It was also fun to hear about the teacher's experience as an artist.

Such a blast!! Very chill group. Nice that it was a smaller group. We were encouraged to be creative and do whatever design we wanted. The teacher was a sub but she was the bomb! I had a lot of fun and felt like there was a good balance of learning and independent work.

My Mom and I attended the Luminary-making class on 3/4/16, as a birthday event. The instructor, Sarah, was wonderful - she explained the process clearly, was patient with all of our questions, and made time to check out everyone's work and offer help and feedback. I would highly recommend this class and others like it at South Broadway Art Project! It was definitely worth the fee charged and I walked away feeling like I'd made something special.
