This was a fantastic class that covered a lot of concerns everyone had for starting or continuing on their own ventures and leaving their 9-5 world behind. Robbie told a funny story of his career path and how he came to leave his work, including the emotional roller coaster along the way.

My only critique is that his story can't apply to every scenario, or even many scenarios. He left his career only to end up in a very similar field and with a different, semi-established company. He also had a wife at the time of leaving his job, and was able to piggy-back on her company's health insurance while he was unemployed. For us solo entrepreneurs who were attending this class to address these same fears (health insurance, total change in field, having enough funds, etc.), we were left a little empty handed.

That said, there was plenty of universal advice too, especially on networking, which is crucial for any person in any business. I left with a ton of notes and many things to consider. I also subscribed to his newsletter after to further get an understanding of his networking techniques. He also personally responded to my thank-you email after the class and offered to meet for a chat later, which I haven't taken him up on yet, but I plan to!

Overall, I highly recommend this class, even if you're not thinking of leaving your job. The networking advice alone is worth it.
