A skilled percussionist since his teens, Quentin's studies have included Egyptian and Middle Eastern "Tabla" (also knows as darbooka and doumbek), frame drum, Pakistani tabla, Moroccan stick drumming (tabl), and many more. Teachers of note include: Michael Zerang, Najib Bahari, Mumtaz Ali Khan, Raquy Danziger and Don Skoog.
Internationally, Quentin is known not only as an aficionado of drums and drum-making, but as an excellent teacher and group facilitator. A believer in non-traditional education systems, his style is approachable and genuine, and leaves students feeling empowered to embark on lifelong journeys of learning.
