Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Like a lot of people, Jess struggled to manage her money. Despite her stellar career that came with a solid salary, she was constantly wondering where her money was going every month, dissatisfied with her income and feeling hopeless when it came to her growing debt. She tried the DIY route – she read books and blogs, but nothing really stuck. She chatted with a couple financial advisors, but the meetings were intimidating and their fees were hard to stomach.

Then Jess ran into Chels.

Chels is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and Registered Investment Advisor who was holding free monthly money chats for women. And while the topics of these discussions were always based on money, the heart of the dialogue was around something Jess never considered when it came to finances – her emotions, biases and innate beliefs about money. As an Experience Designer, Jess knew there was something special about this approach to financial advice. And it was here that Peanut Butter Jelly Time was born.
