Norma is a fantastic teacher as always, and she has a great eye for design. Her teaching style is patient and guiding, but she also lets you be independent as you learn through your own trial and errors. Her love for glass is truly inspiring. Can't wait to take another class!

Norma's Stained Glass 101 has been great. It's 4 classes total, but the schedule is flexible so that you can work at your own pace and reschedule if need be. I've completed 3 of the 4 classes and have learned a lot and have seen very good results on my project. Tomorrow I will be finishing framing and soldering. I highly recommend this class to anyone with appreciation for stained glass and DIY projects!

Norma was great! My girlfriends and I had a lot of fun making our very own Chicago flag mosaic. She was a great teacher who was very attentive to our needs. I would definitely recommend this class.

This was a really fun, laid back class. I like that it was in a home studio, which felt more intimate. Not rushed to finish the piece, and felt it was a really good value and take home piece that I will hang up in my home!

I enjoyed this Mosaic making class. I was able to create a masterpiece that I can view everyday. The only thing I would change was the amount of space in the room. Since it was a full class, we were literally elbow to elbow with the person next to us.

I have had a huge interest in filling my windows with all these beautiful stained glass decorations. I was so excited to see that there was a class that I could actually learn how they are made. This class was amazing and it really taught me the hard work and time it takes to make one of these. As my first piece lots of people loved my project.

We had such a great time making stained glass cacti- we learned so much and were pleasantly surprised at how much we did in one class. Norma is a great teacher with a refreshing, laid back style. Her studio is quirky and fun- we can't wait to go back!

Norma's classes are always great! A fun mix of learning new skills, creating and socializing. I recommend her mosaic classes as well as her stained glass classes!

This was a wonderful experience. I didn't introduce myself to the teacher, but I think she was very helpful, patient, helped us get started right away without needing much explanation or prep. I can't believe that in only a few hours, we were able to make something so beautiful! There were lots of types of people there- individuals, couples, friends, and families with kids. Everyone had a productive but still fun and relaxing time. The teacher (I think Norma?) has a studio home that is filled with beautiful, inspiring mosaics that she's created. It's a wonderful space to create.

Had a 'mom and daughter' day and it could not have been more perfect! We had so much fun and Norma was AWESOME! She is fun, funny, hands on, accommodating, made the class an easy learning experience for us novices. Very comfortable environment-I can't wait to sign up for my next class with her. I HIGHLY recommend folks!

We enjoyed this class very much. There was nice variety of supplies and decorations, a good amount of work space and the instructor was very informational on the topic which was Dia De Los Muertos. She was very friendly as well and my kids were very comfortable talking with her and asking questions.

My daughter (12) and her two friends loved the class. The teacher was wonderful and super nice. Location was great because after they did the skulls, my daughter and her friends walked around, got coffee, shopped for a bit, then returned to pick up their skulls. I highly recommend, great value!

Norma is an amazing teacher!! This is the second class I have taken with her. She promotes creativity. Great way to spend a day alone or with your friends.

I saw this class online but it was full. I emailed the instructor to see when the next time it would be offered and she opened up two spots-one for me and one for my daughter. We had a lot of fun and I think what we made was pretty cool considering we aren't very artsy people. The instructor was extremely nice and did everything she could to make us feel welcome and feel like artists. At first, I was a little disappointed to see our Chicago flag was only 5 x7 inches, it never said on the site what size but for some reason, we thought it was bigger. We quickly learned that doing mosaics is time-consuming and were actually so happy it was the size it was. I have a new appreciation for the art. I would highly recommend this class and this instructor.

This was my second mosaic class with Norma and Just like the first one, this class did not disappoint. Really great selection of glass and mosaic pieces, great instruction, and lots of creative suggestions. I’ll definitely take another class with Norma, and with Dabble. Keep the fun stuff coming guys!

Fun class! My teacher gave me great advice, tips, and tricks as I worked on my mosaic! She showed examples and shared ideas as well as feedback on my art and what I could do to improve it! In the end I created a wonderful work of art and know I can tackle another mosaic project on my own!

This class was so much fun! Norma had all of the materials organized and waiting for us, then instructed us individually as we came in. She gives you free reign over your designs, but for “creativity deficient” people like myself, she offered guidance from start to finish to help me create a great mosaic. All of the people in attendance were having a great time and getting to know each other—great for groups of people and for solo folks like myself. 13/10 would recommend. :)

Fun experience and I’m happy with the finished project, plus I got to use a soldering iron!

This class was so much fun! This class is a fun activity to do with a group of friends. Teacher is engaged and extremely helpful. You have option to use brown or black grout. My sugar skull mosaic was beautiful! I want to take this class again and make another mosaic of a male sugar skull to complement my female sugar skull mosaic. <3 Highly recommend!

I took my mom as a Mother's Day gift. We both enjoyed the experience and our final pieces! Definitely worth the price and a great way to spend a morning.

This is a GREAT class! I did not have any experience in creating mosaics, but Norma explained how to begin working on one at the beginning of class and then spent the rest of the time encouraging each student with his/her creation. She would also provide suggestions for small changes, explaining how it would impact the final result. I had a lot of fun creating my mosaic masterpiece!

We had SO much fun at the sugar skull mosaic class! The class was small enough for Norma to help with whatever we needed but big enough that it didn't feel intimidating when you first walk in if you're shy. And my mosaic turned out AMAZING! We will absolutely be taking another class taught by Norma!

Super fun and very nice experience!

I had a lovely time taking the Mosaic Skylines class! Norma had a variety of materials we could use, and helped us find materials, learn different techniques, and helped us make our ideas come to life. I would recommend coming early for the class so you can pick out your materials and start brainstorming as it is quite time consuming. Would love to take another class with Norma.

Although the space was a bit small, I really enjoyed the class and felt that the cost was appropriate for the experience. I'll definitely participate again!

The mosaic class was so fun! They gave us really clear instructions, provided a ton of different glass colors and shapes, and answered all of our questions. It was a fun artistic challenge to figure out how to put your mosaic together, and so rewarding to see it grouted. Definitely recommend!

I had such a blast in this class; I'd never worked with stained glass, and Norma was there to guide me through the whole process. She was an amazing instructor: hands-on, helpful, and an all-around fabulous person. I will definitely be back to take another course with her!

The Stained Glass Flowers & Cacti class was so fun! We started practicing the basics right from the start, and then worked on our projects the rest of the time. Three hours totally flew by! Norma is knowledgeable, helpful, and overall cool to hangout with, and it was so sweet that she had food for us to snack on. There were only 3 students in this class, so we got tons of attention whenever we needed help. Definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved this class and hung my finished product within 6 hrs of getting home! As opposed to my recent misadventure with a painting class, this one provided enough instruction/flexibility that there was no way I was walking away without a project I'd be happy with. Norma was fantastic and friendly and provided the most delicious treats along with the class! I'll be going back to make another mosaic project with her soon...or stained glass....so many options! Just wonderful!

I loved this class. My first time making a mosaic. Norma was a very friendly, patient teacher. It was a relaxing and fun atmosphere with snacks and music. I was very pleased with my project and plan on taking more classes with her. A great experience!

This was a wonderful class! I had never worked with mosaic before and I had a fabulous time and took home and lovely piece of art for my kitchen. The teacher was welcoming and accommodating- I will be back!

I enjoyed this class but there were a few little things that could’ve made it an outstanding experience. There wasn’t really much instruction given- it was easy enough to pick up though. And at the end of class the teacher showed us things to attach to the back so we could hang out pieces, but we weren’t allowed to use them. I left feeling like I hadn’t finished my piece and now have to go buy something to attach to it so I can hang it. That should’ve been included with the class. Otherwise I enjoyed the class.

If you are interested in learning about mosaics, this is a must take class! Norma provides a welcoming environment which allows you the creativity you need to create your masterpiece! There is no prior experience required for this class either! Norma provides you with all of the tools, fosters the creative process, and encourages you to find your inner artist. Try this class and you will be surprised as to what you can create!

I had been wanting to take a mosaic class for some time. I am happy I took this class with Norma. She was very welcoming and open to letting people embrace their creative side for the art. She was also willing to cater to the requests for smaller pieces of glass. I thought this offer was more than she needed to do and I totally appreciated it. I would recommend taking an art class with, and I would attend another class. I was vey pleased with the art I created.

I had so much fun creating my mini glass mosaic! The atmosphere was relaxed, there was no pressure to recreate something perfectly, it was just fun! Will absolutely go again.

I really enjoyed this class. Norma started us out with some practice cuts, and then set us loose on a lovely variety of colored glass. She was excellent at helping everyone choose a design that would work for them and guiding us through the steps. She's encouraging, kind, and explains everything very well. Plus I'm delighted with the sun-catcher I made.

I loved this class! It was so interesting learning about the holiday of Dia de los Muertos, the significance of the sugar skulls, and how they are made. Decorating our own sugar skulls was so much fun as we got creative and listened to rock n roll records. There was even fresh pico de gallo made from the tomatoes in her garden! I would definitely recommend this class, and any others by this teacher.

The Mexican Sugar Skulls class with Norma was excellent! This class provides you with the opportunity to experiment with your creativity, and no prior skills/experience is required!!! The class is designed in order for you, the student, to truly express yourself creatively and experience the meaning behind the Day of the Dead/Dia De Los Metros. Norma makes the class very enjoyable, while providing historical background information regarding the worldwide holiday. This is a must take class!

There were so many options and examples available, it really got my creative juices flowing. I absolutely love my calaveras de azucar and have them prominently displayed on my desk!

Anytime someone is willing to open their home to share their passion with strangers, they should be commended. Norma is a gracious host as well as a gifted teacher. I've done multiple classes with her because I loved the experience. There have been full classes and times with just a few people but she always gives personal feedback and instruction. I have been able to grow in my ability and I have found inspiration to keep dabbling.
If you are wanting to try a new art, glass is a wonderful option. If you are feeling anxious about making a perfect piece, go in with the realization that you are there for a fun experience and relax knowing that every project I've seen leave her door was a good one. :)

So much fun and just a really interesting experience. I'm gonna go back and do it again with some friends now that I've got the hang of it.

Class was very good. It was a small group so she was able to tailor the class to everyone's specific needs, and gave lots of individual attention. Also we had fun!

Norma was so informative and helpful! She kept the class size small (5 students only) so that she could assist us at each turn of the process. It was really neat to learn how to solder, and I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in the art of glass!

Brought my girl from Big Brothers Big Sisters to this class. She had a rather ambitious goal for her pinata, but Norma helped make it a reality. Very fun class and the pinata we made came out fantastic! We both loved it.

Norma is an awesome instructor. And she assures her classes are super small so students get individual attention. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful, attentive, and flexible. She supported my desire to make something other than the offered window. And, surprisingly, on day 1 of the course, you get to take home a mini-project. It's awesome! I highly recommend her classes.

First time working with Mosaic and it was fantastic! Home studio that was comfortable and inviting. Having snacks available was a great touch! One of the best Dabble experiences if you like to create and have guidance if needed!

Very comfortable environment and teacher

Norma was great--she gave us freedom to do what we wanted (cacti or otherwise) and helped us with ideas. I wish I had spent some time thinking more before the class so I didn't waste time trying to draw a design. She had some beautiful glass available and gave us time to practice cutting on cheap glass before moving to the special glass. She offered us water and snacks while we worked and there was ample workspace for each of us. The cactus I made turned out great. Thanks!

The Mexican Sugar Skull class was a lot fun. Norma is a great teacher, very patient and explained instructions well.

Norma is flexible, patient, encouraging, and helpful, which is great for people trying mosaics for the first time. We came away with nice flower pots and learned a lot about mosaic work in general. Definitely recommend Norma and her classes!

This is a great class, I really enjoyed it. Norma is a great teacher, she picked up on the fact that I had some experience with glass and soldering so she adjusted my project to keep me challenged. Her teaching style strikes a nice balance between instruction and independent work that I really appreciate and I feel confident that she would have provided more instruction if/when I needed it.

We had so much fun picking out fun pieces for our project, snacking on veggies from Norma's garden and chatting while we made our pot. Norma provided great advice and tips and our pots turned out great! Such a fun project for someone who has never done a glass mosaic!!! Highly recommended - Norma's a pro!

My mom and I participated in this class as part of her birthday present. We both loved it! I'd taken two mosaic classes before from another place and was not a fan, but this is what my mom wanted. Norma completely changed the mosaic world for me! She is a great instructor. The classes are held in her home with lots of inspiring mosaics, a fantastic array of creative supplies are available and treats. My mom and I each made two small mosaics, but the project(s) you undertake is flexible. Highly recommending this class and I'll take it again.

Norma's very generous and has a nice way of guiding and instructing, helping you to make your first mosaic piece one to be proud of.

Norma was such a great teacher! We did the pinata making class and had a great experience. She was encouraging with recommendations and helping us bring our ideas to life. She was so personable and helpful. I highly recommend this unique class!

We had SO much fun at this BYOB pinata making class with Norma. She did a great job of explaining how to dive into making our custom pinata creations and offered tons of helpful advice as we were working on the projects. I can't wait to take another one of her classes soon.

This class was so wonderful! I was somewhat intimidated by trying to make a pinata but Norma walked us through the directions and then helped out throughout. She had tons of options for supplies which allowed you to get really creative. I would definitely suggest this class to anyone! So much fun!

Teacher was encouraging and patient while assisting with design ideas and skills needed to create the mosaic piece. Friendly, strong knowledge base, and overall enjoyable to take a class from - definitely recommended.

I took this class with my partner and we both had an amazing time!! We both highly recommend this class. Norma is super nice, welcoming, and made us feel comfortable right away. She even offered us coffee and snacks! She created a nice creative atmosphere where you can play whatever music the group wants to hear. As far as the actual mosaic work goes: we both felt like we got a good beginning understanding of how to go about mosaic work for our own future project. We got to choose what type of project we wanted to work on for the duration of the class (a flat piece or a dimensional piece like a box). She had tons off cool glass and other materials for us to choose from. My partner and I both left with finished mosaic boxes that we absolutely love. She even gave us a parting gift at the end of the class too!
Norma really took time with each of us to make sure we were able to make what we wanted and had all of our questions answered while doing so. We can't say enough good things about this class. If you are thinking about taking this class: DO IT!

Class was fun and teacher was very pleasant/helpful. I did, however, hope for more flexibility in scheduling as I had a conflict and when contacting the instructor for a rain check, she was not willing to accommodate despite the fact that it was 6 days in advance (1 day late from dabbles cancellation policy) and the class sold out. I ended up having to miss my other commitment to make this.

Fun environment, but was mostly a self guided class.
