Nettle and Rose

Cammie is passionate about all things food. She has done it all in the restaurant world from washing dishes to having her own wholesale bakery in her hometown of Seattle. She moved to the roaring fork valley in Colorado 8 years ago in search of sunshine and that is where she met Melana – it was an immediate friendship.
When Melana was having problems conceiving she went to herbal medicine and Cammie just kinda followed watched and learned. Cammie is continually studying plant medicine. She has a certificate in Women’s Herbal and Ethnobotanical Studies as well as a pastry degree and over 30 years working with food.
Cammie is passionate about food being real, all people having access to real food, medicine being from the earth as our ancestors used before us. She is a avid gardener; loves the outdoors, exploring everywhere. Cammie lives in Denver with her partner and 14-year-old son and their dog Arrow.

Melana Meyer is a mother of two, connoisseur and lover of plants and herbal medicine, Certified Community Herbalist. Encountering fertility troubles in my early 20's Melana found Shelley Torgove, a herbalist who practiced a specific abdominal massage for fertility and reproductive health, which led to Melana conceiving her first child. Elated by the power of the healing, she wanted to learn more about it. Melana studied under Artimesia and Rue and completed two certification programs, as well as two trips to the Yucatan learning from Mayan midwives, herbalists, and a respected Shaman. Possessing the knowledge and tools, Melana was then able to conceive her second child easily.
Melana believes that medicine belongs in the hands of the people; this knowledge is not ours to keep. The wisdom comes from our ancestors and should continue to be passed on to future generations. Melana feels passionate about sharing that knowledge so that others may embark on their journeys toward plant discovery!
