Monique Ortega

Monique Ortega is the Lead Instructor and Owner of Thai Massage Seminars.
She practiced foot Reflexology for 2 years prior to enrolling then graduating from the School of Healing Arts in 2006 with a Associates of Occupational Studies Degree, specializing in Advance Neuromuscular, Lymphatic Drainage and Reflexology.

The first three years of her practice were dedicated to Trauma Touch Therapy, a certified practice which addresses deep trauma and cellular memory designed to assist war veterans in treatment of PTSD.

As Monique's practice began to grow, so did her many interests in developing body work techniques that were conducive to a healthy lifestyle which treated each person individually as a whole.  In 2011 she received her license in Esthetics from the Aveda Institute of Denver!
She felt after this training she could further implement Holistic practices and tie the threads of Ayuvadic  knowledge of balancing Body, mind and Spirit into her own Bodywork practice.

In 2012 Monique traveled to Chiang Mai Thailand and earned her certification to teach Northern Style Thai Massage and Acupressure at the School of Massage for Health.  She has since hosted and taught workshops in Northern Thailand.

Monique continues to own a small Medical Massage practice in Denver Colorado, which she has private sessions available. She has a intimate Thai Massage studio which she teaches courses privately or to small groups and as well as community wellness workshops.  She continues traveling to South East Asia, South America and Mexico hosting workshops.
