Dr. Lyssa Menard:

Dr. Menard is dedicated to teaching business owners, executives, and other high-achievers to enjoy their lives as well as their work. An assistant professor at Northwestern University, she also owns Strategies for Change, where she offers cognitive behavioral therapy, business coaching, mindfulness training, and corporate wellness programs. Dubbed both the “Weight & Wellness Guru” and the “CEO Whisperer,” Dr. Menard is known for her laser-like ability to transform frazzled high potentials into healthy, wealthy, and wise stress-management masters. She loves empowering her clients to succeed in their work while protecting their most important personal goals.
An open and honest, no-holds-barred problem solver, her highest values are learning, teaching, and sharing the knowledge to transform overwhelm into wellness. After receiving her PhD in Clinical Psychology, researching stress and health at Stanford University, University of California, and the National Center for PTSD, she went on to a fellowship at University of Chicago, before landing at her “dream job” at Northwestern University. She has appeared in the CNN, NBC News, ABC News, New York Times, the Chicago Tribune, Prevention Magazine, WebMD, and CareerBuilder.

Michelle Taufmann is the founder of Taufmann Group, a firm that brings mindfulness to corporations and individuals through consulting, interactive talks, workshops, classes and one-on-one sessions. Corporate clients use Taufmann Group’s services to enhance employee well-being in ways that result in better decision-making, greater creativity and innovation, more effective teams and less downtime. Michelle’s corporate experience includes 15 years as a successful marketing strategy and research consultant, and management positions in strategic planning and corporate communications at Fortune 100 firms. Michelle has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago.
