"Since 2009, David and Jeff Lazaroff have been writing and releasing some of the most interesting and eclectic music in the city, pulling from a wide range of inspirations -- from Americana to psych-rock to jazz to world music, and everything in between -- to consistently bring energetic and memorable sounds to the streets of St. Louis. The aptly named Brothers Lazaroff have released five full-length efforts over the years, each well-received by critics and fans alike." Daniel Hill, Music Editor at Riverfront Times

This was so fun! We got to assemble a couple of different kinds of dumplings and then had a full brunch with a ton of great food. The beer pairings weren't as formal as I imagined, but it was nice to get to try offerings from another local brewery!

I highly recommend this event! The hands on dumpling making class was interesting and fun and the all-you-can-eat dim sum meal after was fantastic! My only complaint, which ends up not even being a complaint, is the class description described the meal as multiple courses paired with beer. In actuality, there was only one bottomless beer during the meal which was served family style with a couple shots of sake during the dumpling making. So while the description was a bit misleading, I preferred what actually happened as 1-- I knew I didn't really like the brewery posted on the class description and the beer they offered was a specially brewed Urban Chestnut (Moon Monkey, I believe was the name) and 2-- house brewed sake?! Wonderful!! The elderflower-pear sake was my favorite. Which was more floral than the other offered which was a fruity winter berry sake. Both my boyfriend and I left thoroughly satisfied to go home to enjoy a food coma nap. Definitely worth the money and experience. Will definitely be returning to LuLu's for their regular weekend dim sum or to try their menu, and would even attend another event such as this!

My husband and I had a great time learning how to make two kinds of dumplings. Of course the best part was the dim sum brunch afterwards with delicious local beer! Definitely recommend!

Fun class! Loved getting to make several different types of dumplings. Tried lots of foods during Dim Sum, and the beer was a great added touch.

Class started out slow but as people got comfortable and got their hands messy, it flowed very well. I was taught how to make Chinese dumplings by chefs from the kitchen - how cool is that? - but I'll need a few years of practice to master it. The food at the brunch was fabulous and plentiful, I tasted and enjoyed some items that I may not have otherwise tried. The beer was great, especially the De Bockle at the end. Very well hosted event, would definitely do again.
