Wondeful class! Kenyatta gives you the tools to pursue macrame on your own. You walk away from the class feeling accomplished, with an amazing piece of art to display in your home.

I loved this class last May! The instructor, Kenyatta, was patient with the newbies and helped us along as we learned macrame for the first time. I went home with a beautiful handmade piece to hang on my wall! We also got a mini lesson on mindfulness and explored products from Remix by Giselle. It was awesome and I later bought one of her lavender sprays that I use before bed. I would definitely sign up for another workshop from either Kenyatta or Giselle--it was fantastic way to unwind and spend a Sunday afternoon :)

Im really glad I signed up for the Macrame experience. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Kenyatta. She's a really great instructor; patient, good directions, and healthy space for exploring the knotting on my own. Ive been looking into macrame online for a while and it was really helpful to learn it in person. She had all the materials ready, and even directed me to websites and vendors where I can purchase materials to keep on the macrame journey. Her most important pieces of advice for me were that there are really no mistakes as long as you do the same thing on each side, and letting go of the idea of "perfection" Very helpful for me to be able to let go and enjoy the where the weaving takes me. I came home with a lovely wall hanging. Thank you Kenyatta!

Kenyatta was a wonderful teacher, able to help us with three separate projects. I love how small the class was, that she was able to help us whenever and give us ideas/feedback. There were also very open communication about the other different projects that she had around the house.

I loved this class! I was able to make an entire macrame owl during the class period. The instructor was great and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I learned about 4 different types of knots and also how to add beads and finish off the wall hanging.

Kenyatta led an excellent macrame workshop! She was an encouraging and fun instructor who provided a lot of one-on-one support. I left with a beautiful plant hanger I'm excited to hang in my home. This was a very fun way to spend a Sunday!

I really loved my class in Macrame I think I found a new hobby! I really was fortunate, I was the only person in the class. I got a lot of one on one attention. I have been looking at Macrame on Pinterest, but it’s nothing like doing it in person.

Modern Macrame was so much fun! I loved this hands-on experience, and it was a great way to spend time with a friend. As a true macrame beginner it was awesome having such a small class - I felt like I got a lot of one-on-one learning time. I loved how everyone’s piece turned out different in the end and we all weren’t “forced” to make the same piece. I highly recommend this class!

This is the second class I've taken with Kenyatta - she is a fabulous teacher! You definitely will learn macrame basics and feel comfortable continuing to experiment on your own. If Kenyatta sees that you have the hang of the knotting, she'll show you new tricks and techniques . I'll be back for more!

First, let me brag on the instructor, Kenyatta. She is AWESOME. Not only is she extremely talented and creative in her craft of Macrame, but she is just as talented and creative with her instructing. She uses fun references to describe how to do certain knots, and she tells jokes along the way. The class size I attended was the perfect size - big enough for everyone to feed off each other's energy, but small enough for Kenyatta to help each person individually, so that their finished products are unique to their personalities. I had no experience with Macrame before this and felt totally comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend!

I only have great things to say about Kenyetta's macrame course! What I loved most was her philosophy to teaching, which was to not teach us a pattern, but to teach us different knots so that we had the ability to design our own pattern. We all ended up with completely original pieces of art and the pride of knowing that we created it ourselves!

I loved Modern Macrame! It was pretty easy once you got a hang of the knots. I made a cute planter that I can't wait to hang in my apartment! The teacher was great and the restaurant next door provided the class with free scones, coffee and mimosas!! It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I look forward to taking another macrame class.
