I really appreciated the instructor taking a custom approach to the time we had and learned quite a bit from him. I also had fun. I don't think it was more "advanced" than the intermediate class as far as learning what is going on. Not quite what you expect from the description, worth the money. The basic and intermediate classes where great you learned some good techniques and practical understanding of what you will likely need to do in the real world with a screwdriver and allen wrench. However, there are specific areas of the bike you're not going to have the tools or the time to work on, this is the advanced stuff. At a certain point, it might become impractical and just easier to have it serviced by professional. There were two people total in the class

Well, if you want to learn about riding bikes as well as understand basic techniques to fix your bike I recommend this class. It was worth the money ($15 to $20) for the level of understanding you get when you leave. Gears, brakes and tire component's are pretty much covered as topics and you can ask questions and cover other topics pretty easily. I would recommend bringing your bike and suck in all the free advice.
