Event Overview
Come experience Washington state’s bounty with a celebration of local produce and perfectly paired wines at Queen Anne’s Ward Johnson Winery!
This isn’t your average wine tasting… we’ll work our way through 4 wines and 3 salsas, discussing flavor profiles and pairing suggestions along the way. Our chef instructor will share the secrets of making great salsa at home, including how to swap out different produce based on what’s in season. Every ticket includes a 4-wine flight from Ward Johnson Winery and 3 salsas to sample: the only pico de gallo you’ll ever need, a kick-ass fruit salsa, or a mouth-watering corn salsa.
Then it’s time to get hands-on - we’ll have a selection of local organic produce ready for you to create your very own custom salsa inspired by the ones you tasted in class. Take your salsa home along with recipe suggestions and wine pairing notes.
