Event Overview

Learning about local farms + mindfulness + getting crafty = a pretty good Saturday! We’re sharing insider tips about Seattle’s farmer's markets, including how you can have an even the greater connection to the environment by shopping local. Hear inspirational stories about farmers and the impact the market has made on their lives and participate in a reflective meditation on local food, community, and personal sustainability.

Then reinforce your commitment to reducing single-use plastic, conversing with your community, and shopping locally by decorating your own reusable cotton produce bag set! We’ll have veggie-focused stamps, fabric markers, and embroidery floss for you to customize one small and one large recycled cotton produce bags. Should your love for local with your very own market totes!
