Event Overview
Dive hands first into the art of Shibori by learning how to produce beautiful hand-dyed indigo fabric. We’ll demonstrate various techniques for hiding portions of the fabric from the dye, which results in the classic Shibori pattern - blue where the fabric was exposed and white where the fabric was covered. Then get creative designing your own pair one-of-a-kind indigo flour sack towels. You’ll leave with your masterpieces and step-by-step instructions to dye until you’re heart’s content at home!
*We recommend wearing dark clothing and shoes or items that you don't mind getting dye on.
