ABOUT THIS EVENT
Arts & DIY
Have you been holding on to your most-beloved jeans despite an unfortunate rip? What about that vintage shirt you've been meaning to tailor? You're in luck. Join us learn some tips and tricks for extending the life of your favorite pieces or just embellishing them to add some flair. We will be popping up at The Collective with Net Impact Seattle as part of a larger series promoting sustainable fashion. We'll bring the materials so come as you are, ready to practice and play with new techniques.
Bonus! If you have a favorite piece you'd like to look at in class, bring it with you! Our instructor will select 3 participant pieces to consult on and use as showcase examples during class.
As a small step toward making The Works a space for everyone, this event is offered on a sliding scale. The suggested donation for this event is $15. Please pay only what you can!
