Fess up, Milwaukee. How many times have you walked hurriedly through downtown on your way to work, brunch, or run errands without once stopping to look up from the pavement at the beautiful sights around you?
We'll wait while you count ...
On second thought, no we won't, because we'd probably be waiting forever. It's easy to take our city for granted, especially in the not-so-lovely winter months that warrant bundling and scurrying rather than strolling and meandering.
Join us for this Dabble class that's designed to put us back in touch with the city we love. We'll be taking a historic tour, with a photographic twist. Bring your camera along and follow a tour guide who will dish on the important happenings of Milwaukee while giving plenty of photographic tips for taking creative pictures along the way.
Our route will be roughly a mile walk, with stops at a number of photo-worthy hot spots, including: the Historic Third Ward, Milwaukee Public Market, scenic RiverWalk, picturesque Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee Art Museum, the lakefront and much more.
Each attendee will receive a map highlighting some of our favorite photo opportunities on the route, along with real-time tips and techniques for capturing the pretty bits of the city that you can save on your fridge. To look at during the not-so-lovely winter months that warrant bundling and scurrying rather than strolling and meandering.
