Reiki and Sound Healing

Event Overview

Reiki is a Japanese relaxation and energy healing technique that supports the body's natural healing processes in taking energy where it is most needed. It can be applied through hands-on or just over the body.

Sound healing is a healing method used to calm the mind and open your heart for relaxation and to drop you into a deep meditative state. By using these ancient sound healing instruments it balances out the flow of energy through the body, mind, and spirit. Participants are able to quiet the mind, release stress, and build self-awareness.

*This is a hands-off approach and is all audio.

We will start with a Reiki healing session that will then lead into sound healing. By combining both of these techniques, you will receive enhanced benefits to support your own healing intentions which may include stress relief, relaxation, and overall improved mental clarity.

We are very excited to support you all with two modalities- sound healing and Reiki that can travel through space without having to be less than 6 feet distance apart!

Please plan for the following:

- We will be at the southwest corner of the Huston Lake Park. Park on any side street and enter the park from the corner of Clay St. and Kentucky St.

- If you happen to enter from a different entrance, we will be in the field just opposite the baseball field.

- Wear a mask.

- Bring a blanket or chair to sit on spaced 6 feet apart from other guests.

- Cash or Venmo donation would be much appreciated!

MORE ABOUT YOUR HOST

I’m all too familiar with the impact of burnout, the effect it had on my professional life, and ultimately the breaking point it had in my personal life.

After 10 years in the fast paced retail world, I felt all the symptoms of burnout. I just didn’t know that I was exhausted on all fronts and felt stuck. It took me a while to finally realize what was going on and that I wasn’t alone. Quitting my job was the first step in my road to recovery. From traveling all around the world, and immersing myself in other cultures that truly understand slowing down as a culture, and seeking healthier better options, I discovered where my path was leading me.

I took an MBSR course (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), where I reflected with countless hours of mindfulness and continued my yoga practice everyday. I received my certification in Vibrational Sound Therapy to help deepen the practice of stress reduction through therapeutic grade singing bowls. I received my certification in meditation and facilitating it. All of these experiences gave me the skill sets where I now have developed my own stress-resilience program to help others experiencing transition in their life.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our adorable dachshund on hikes, road trips, trying out new restaurants, and snuggling up on the couch together.

I hope to bring a little more work/life balance to your life.
